delivery FAQs

I’d like my flowers for a specific date, how can we get that scheduled in?

If you require your flowers for an event, we would recommend having them delivered the day before, thus there will be no worries in terms of the time that the delivery will arrive on the day. A, before 10am or Noon delivery can be booked but is considerably more expensive. The flowers are picked on the morning of the delivery and once they arrive, if stored in the fridge they will last absolutely fine for your event and for a few days afterward too.

On the checkout form there will be a “date required” field on the form, please fill this in with a note on your order using the note section letting us know any further information that might be required. We will be in touch and following our advice here, provided the order is placed in advance, we will post it to arrive the day before.

I need flowers for a Monday, can this be arranged?

Picks up don’t occur on sundays unfortunately, so Monday delivery could mean the package sitting around in warm conditions if sent to arrive on a Monday. The best we’ll be able to do is arrange a delivery for Saturday so you can use the item on Monday. The flowers will last if kept in the fridge. A saturday delivery however is most expensive and this will need to be arranged in advance, so please get in touch first before ordering.

What are your delivery costs?

A small – to medium box is £7.50, for boxes that are over 5kg (i.e. several boxes of flowers, veg etc) these will be £10.80. These prices are set by the courier.

Where can we deliver too?

We can deliver throughout the UK but please note the Highlands will incur an extra charge set by the courier.

My order has arrived, what should I do?

Unpack your flowers and place them into the fridge. They will last for several days if stored correctly. The ice packs can be reused. The box and filling can be recycled.

Once the package has left the farm and is with the courier, it is out of our control, therefore if a delivery is not delivered within the time frame stated by the courier, we at Aweside Farm cannot be held liable for any damages, losses or expenses that are incurred to the customer or 3rd party. We cannot accept any liability for orders that have been left due to you not being in, if there is a neighbour or safe place to leave the package with, please outline this in the notes section of your order.
