Dahlia Darling - Dried Edible Flower Petals

Some people change your life without ever realising it.

When we first moved to Arlington to start the farm, Willie and Barry were among the very first people to welcome us into the village. They took us under their wing, and before long we'd become the self-appointed "Darlingtons of Arlington."

Willie grew the most incredible dahlias I'd ever seen. Every summer seemed brighter because of them, and what started as admiration quickly became a full-blown obsession. Long evenings spent chatting and laughing away in the summer house are some of my favourite memories from those early years on the farm.

Now they've swapped Sussex for Scotland, but every time I pull together this blend, it takes me straight back.

Each dahlia is grown on our certified organic farm in East Sussex, picked at peak bloom, hand-separated into petals, and dried within hours using solar-powered dehydrators. The result is a rich tapestry of fiery oranges, deep plums and glowing golds that celebrates one of summer's most spectacular flowers.
