Eve and I have known each other for longer than we haven't. As two only children, finding each other felt a bit like finally getting the sister we'd both been missing.
Growing up, we were the quintessential emo kids. My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Fall Out Boy... if it had guitars and questionable fringes, we were there. In fact, the week I was putting this blend together, we were heading to see My Chemical Romance again—twenty years after our very first gig together at fifteen. Somehow, despite everything life has thrown at us, we've ended up back where we started, singing the same songs.
Black, white and pink were always Eve's colours. As I scattered the petals together, I couldn't shake the feeling that this blend already had a name.
So this one's for Eve—my best friend, my chosen sister, and one of the strongest, kindest and most inspiring women I know.
Today she runs her own creative business, Southern Wildberry, creating beautiful country-inspired illustrations and homeware, and I couldn't be prouder of everything she's built.
Each petal is hand-harvested on our certified organic farm in East Sussex and dried within hours using solar-powered dehydrators, preserving their natural colour and making them ready to add a little floral magic to your baking.
