Whenever I got a mixed bag of sweets as a kid, I'd carefully eat all the good ones first. The reds disappeared immediately, the black ones weren't far behind, and if I was really desperate I'd eventually make a start on the orange ones... everything else was left behind for someone else to deal with.
Truth be told, not much has changed. I still sort my wine gums exactly the same way.

Each petal is hand-harvested on our certified organic farm in East Sussex and dried within hours using solar-powered dehydrators, preserving their natural colour and making them ready to add a little edible nostalgia to your baking.
